Attendee Comments:
From Laura Rodriguez, Int’l Trade Commission: I gained much information, new insights, and valuable contacts at your most timely and engaging conference. It was one of the best I have attended in recent years. The speakers were most impressive and Marci Zaroff ended the conference with a bang - she's an inspiration. I look forward to the next one (hopefully) and any information that comes out of it.
From Walter Wilhelm, WWA: ... a fantastic meeting. It was the best AAPN meeting I have attended (or certainly one of the best). It was well organized, interesting, GREAT networking and dialogs between the attendees. Kudos to each of you and all the speakers and attendees. OUTSTANDING!!
From Rick Horwitch, Bureau Veritas: I can't begin, or end, to articulate how great the meeting was. We should all feel proud that the AAPN not only put on a great event, but had, what I believe, was a "game changing" event. Now the real work and fun begin. Bravo Mike and Sue - and everyone.
From Elliott Lightman, Enova: The conference was by far one of the most unique I ever attending. Everyone was working together to gain knowledge and understanding that could be applied to their business. There was no hard sell, just sharing ideas. This was great.
From Andy Dreher, Darlington Fabrics: I think many of us are already heavily engaged (though in our case it was under the umbrella of "good business practice" not "sustainability"). We likely need to give ourselves and the chain more credit for what we are already doing every day (and have done for years) regarding environmental, social responsibility and long-term profitability. In our case we invest significantly in conservation, recycling, social benefits for our employees and their families (well beyond the minimum) and community outreach. Again, up to this point all in the name of "good business practice". We'll likely shift that focus to "sustainability" since that seems to be the hot phrase.
