Texworld USA January 2010 Focuses on Domestic Resources

Eight domestic mills from North America have joined the list of more than 140 exhibitors for this winter’s edition of Texworld USA, which will return to New York City’s Jacob K. Javits Convention Center January 19 - 21.

With limited production actually done in North America at present, both Messe Frankfurt, Inc. and Lenzing Fibers made it a priority to bring more domestic resources to Texworld USA in response to attendee demand. Five of the mills will be showing for the first time ever at the event.

The eight mills joining the show are:

Buhler Quality Yarns
Buhler Quality Yarns Corp. spins luxury yarns using premium fibers such as MicroModal® from Lenzing and Supima® cotton. Buhler yarns are not just for fashion apparel, but also for performance apparel using technologies such as TransDry®, Outlast®, and X-Static®. All yarns are spun in the most sustainable way possible. Buhler also carries popular fashion Slub and RoyalSpun fabrics.

Design Knit, Inc.
Design Knit Inc. is a leading manufacturer of knit-to-order high quality fabrics. They specialize in sheer and light weight fabrics and are proud to provide European quality and designs at highly affordable prices. With focus on PFD fabrics, Design Knit offers a cutting-edge line of fabrics using Tencel®, MicroModal ®, ProModal®, organic cotton, bamboo and more.

FesslerUSA
FesslerUSA provides apparel design support services and custom production services to the private label fashion knitwear industry, helping designers and retailers bring leading edge concepts, fabrics and styles to market quickly. FesslerUSA offers over 300 fabrics, including 100% Supima® cotton, Supima® blends, organics, Lenzing Modal® blends, rayon and spandex blends.

Laguna Fabrics/Enviro Fabrics
Laguna Fabrics, one of the leading knit converters on the West Coast for the last 30 years, will be displaying a variety of new sheer light weight Heather Grey yarn dyes in Rayon and Modal®. Laguna’s contemporary division, Enviro Fabrics, will introduce a variety of sheer Modals blended with acrylic; polyester; silk; and Lenzing’s new ProModal® and Cotton/ProModal®, in a variety of jerseys; ribs and thermals, ranging from 3.5 oz to 7.5 oz with spandex.

Manoir Inc.
Manoir Inc. is a leading North American manufacturer of circular knits. Their diverse product offering consists of eco-friendly fabrics such as certified organic cotton (Control Union), Tencel® along with bamboo and bamboo/organic cotton blends. Most recently Manoir has launched a line of work wear fabrics focusing on Nomex® fire retardant fabrics and high visibility constructions.

Mansfield Textile, Inc.
Mansfield Textiles Inc. is engaged in the knitting and distribution of textile products to United States domestic wholesale clothing manufacturers. The company remains dedicated to manufacturing textiles that with hand feel as natural as a summer sea breeze. Cotton, cotton blends, Lenzing Modal®, Tencel®, and ProModal® are key products of Mansfield.

Pacific Coast Knitting Inc.
Pacific Coast Knitting is an American mill with over 20 years experience and 1,800 styles of knits. Their specialty is in novelty knits and the company is known for first class quality, on time delivery and low minimums. Pacific Coast Knitting carries styles with silk, cashmere, viscose, Supima®, MicroModal®, ProModal®, Tencel® as well as organic, bamboo and hemp blend yarns.

Tuscarora Yarns
Tuscarora Yarns works with a wide range of fibers to produce heathers, sophisticated mélanges, mock twists, solids and other specialty yarns. This list of fibers includes, but is not limited to, cotton, polyester, acrylic, rayon, Modal®, Tencel®, flax, wool and silk. Many of these can be spun in their 100% form or can be blended with one another. Plied yarns, slub yarns and nub yarns are also available.

All eight companies will be featured in the Lenzing Innovation pavilion at the January 2010 event.
