IFAI Women in Textiles Summit

The Industrial Fabrics Association International (IFAI) announced that its Women in Textiles Summit is scheduled for March 6-8 at the Hyatt Regency in Savannah, Ga.

 

At the summit, IFAI is gathering some of the brightest leaders in the textiles industry to share, grow and create like never before. The conference will explore creative approaches to current challenges and inspire forward thinking that happens when we ask what we want personally, professionally and for the industry as a whole.

 

The Women in Textile Summit is an empowerment conference for women in the industrial fabrics industry that addresses challenges, successes and opportunities through an interactive agenda.

 

Among keynote speakers is Patti Bates, general manager of Technical Markets at Glen Raven Technical Fabrics. Bates is an industry icon. Her participation in IFAI, USIFI, Textiles and Apparel Chapter of the Industry Trade Advisory Committee and Glen Raven’s mentorship program show not only her dedication but her determination.

 

By sharing her personal and professional experiences she cultivates creative approaches to current challenges and inspires forward thinking. Her expertise in navigating the industry, balancing priorities and valuable mentoring will set the stage for a remarkable summit experience.

 

The other keynoter is Sarah Moshman, an Emmy Award-winning documentary filmmaker. From Dancing with the Stars to discovering a dream come true, she will recount her experiences as a documentary filmmaker who shines a light on extraordinary women across the U.S.

 

With a unique mix of an entrepreneurial spirit, a drive to change the way the world perceives women – Moshman entertains, enlightens and encourages the crowd to live their best lives. Share in her transformational story as she shares how she translated her passion of storytelling to professional success.
