2023 Carolina Mill Tour

From May 1st to May 4th, we held the Annual Carolina Mill Tour and visited 6 of our long-standing members with 27 people from 11 Brands and Retailers. It was a great week for education, sourcing & supplier visits and networking!

The 2023 AAPN Carolina Mill Tour included 27 people from these brands/retailers:

Workwear Outfitters

The tour flowed through North and South Carolina with site-visits to 6 AAPN member companies - showcasing what is made in the Americas through each link of the textiles and apparel supply chain! Each Mill did a great job of explaining their process and even offering some "hands-on" training in spinning, knitting and dyeing and finishing to the next generation of talent!

Tuesday, May 2

Day trip to Lumberton, NC for a tour of Contempora Fabric Mills + the Unifi's Repreve Mobile Tour for synthetic fiber production & cotton/synthetic yarn spinning. Followed by a Group Dinner in Charlotte.
